A very light, airy, fizzy dram with remarkable complexity. It hits your tongue like a cool blast of air on a winter’s day, settling on the end of your tongue and fizzing like a sugar coated cola bottle sweetie.  The nose is like just ripe fruit sitting in the kitchen on a summers day.

This whisky is incredibly fresh and yet, following first contact rolls back over your tongue in a delightful syrupy wave before ending with a short burst of perfectly moderated spiciness. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and you do get the hint of woods and woodsmen in the overall effect.

Water seems to make it thicker on the tongue while lengthening the duration of the spicy finish. Still pleasant, though not as nice as undiluted.

All in all, this is a dram for whenever you need freshening up.

  • Most people agree that it is legitimate for jewelers to make ornaments out of raw gold, but they often deny that the same applies to the manufacture of coins. ,
